Please do not answer this question if the only classical music you know is "Symphony no. 5" and "O Fortuna".
Anyway:
I really like Beethoven and Medelsshon. I love reading about all of the Germanic composers, though. Many are very interesting.
My favorites are "The Planets Op. 32" (Jupiter is my favorite) by Gustav Holst and "Symphony no. 25" by Mozart.
