LG Neon GT365 - Smartphone review Price and features Props and Cons
Overall the LG Neon is a good value. It is straightforward to use and will take only 2 mins to set-up and start. The sliding keyboard is fantastic for better SMS-ing but the keys might be a bit bigger, in my judgment. The LG Neon hasn't got voice dialing built-in, though ATT offers a corresponding service for an once a month charge. The salesman referred to the LG Neon as a cross-breed touchscreen phonephone. The sole touch sensitive screen feature available is the numeric telephone dialing screen which is expediently accessible from the main interface. Reading and sending email is sort of straightforward if you've got an ATT, AOL, Yahoo! Or Windows Live account. The Yellow Pages application might be helpful but I also counsel downloading the Google Maps for cell phones. The Music folder contains limited trial subscription to Music ID and Make UR Tones applications. Demo games include Ms.
The Bluetooth wireless connectivity supports A2DP technology which can stream audio in stereo to the headset. The threaded messaging displays full talks and not just fragmented responses, while the New Message button is expediently found on the keyboard.
I am able to get comfortable with the LG Neon GT365 and for my particular wishes this is a good phone. I do assume the voice-dialing should be a standard feature and the USB wire should be included. While recognizing that, I might suggest this phonephone for those that need simplicity and honesty for e-communication and quality voice calls

I dont have DSL service in my area. How about yahoo dial-up service? Is it good for basic browsing needs?
ATT says there is no high speed service available in my location in AR. But I dont want to spend beyond my budget to get cable net. I'm thinking about dial-up service from ATT yahoo. I am a basic user - browsing websites, emails, online banking, sometimes music downloads. How about the dialup speed for my requirement? Need comments from this yahoo friendly community. Thanks.

My location is Fayetteville.
For very basic browsing such as websites and emails (if you are patient) then dial-up will work. As far as music downloads then you really need to think about getting high-speed internet. For an average song to download from iTunes, for example, you are looking at 20 minutes+ for just one song.
There are also other issues with dial up, such as random disconnects (which can be annoying if you are trying to download something) and the occasional busy signal which will not allow you to log on. Also, it will tie up your phone line, unless you have a seperate line purchased.
Cable internet might be more expensive, but you should really look into it as it will make your Internet experience much nicer.
